The Art of Giving - A Book

One Thousand Gifts: A Dare to live Fully Right Where You Are

There is nothing like the gift of a newly released book! Well wrapped of course. Cause this Christmas I'm banN the ever popular gift bag on this blog and under our tree!

A creativity confession in early 2009 in which I explained to a potential client my creative process for logo creation prompted this Sunday School friend to declare the title of my first book ... Learning to Here the Voice of God and I thought our meeting was about his website. Later, after the meeting, when I approached our FATHER in reference to an image for this logo ... I received an instant answer and prayed myself right out of this particular freelance gig ... my reply from HIM ... My word is sufficient.

So, this Sunday evening has been busy and I have some links to share with you ...

One Website stated ... "God is alive and moving throughout the world calling us to a life of creativity, risk and sacrifice. Come learn how to lose your life so that you can find it for real." What are you called to risk and sacrifice to create for HIS glory?

  1. last week I anonymously gave a co-worker $160 and several bags of food. It was a stretch for me and didn't tell my husband. The next day I got a check in the mail for $95, refund from mortgage company. My husband travels for his job and had time to kill that day. He stopped in a casino and won $185. In the end my gifts didn't cost me a thing, God returned it plus some. Gift, love, compassion for others are all good. But for me the last few months have been about showing people mercy. Since I started my life feels like I am holding on to a rocket. So many wonderful things have happened.
I count your blog as one of the blessings.
    God Bless,
