Spring has sprung here n Tennessee and we have been blessed with a beautiful day. but the old timers know there is more winter on the way in the form of :
1) Redbud Winter—early April
2) Dogwood Winter—the end of April
3) Locust Tree Winter—on the heals of Dogwood Winter
4) Blackberry Winter—early to mid May
5) Cotton Britches Winter-- late May
6) Whippoorwill Winter—the last of the spring
winters late May or early June
